Kapuso young star Miguel Tanfelix is being touted as the next Kapuso Primetime King by some Kapuso fans.
Tanfelix, who currently stars in the GMA Network series What We Could Be, got praised by Kapuso netizens for his level-up acting.
Kapuso fans can’t help but notice his impressive acting in the series, and others even compare him to current Kapuso Primetime King Dingdong Dantes.

In an interview with GMANetwork.com, published on October 27, Tanfelix shared how the pandemic has helped him relearn his acting skills.
“Iba na kasi ngayon kasi after nag-hit ‘yung pandemic, ang daming taon na lumipas, sobrang kailangan ng transition period para sa mga characters na gagampanan ko and being a young adult, ‘di naman s’ya palagi ka na lang nag-e-express ng emosyon mo.
“So sakto, bilang young adult ako, ‘yun ‘yung mga roles na napupunta sa ‘kin is gano’n din ‘yung age group and kailangan ko i-expose ‘yung sarili ko sa mga male dominant films like Fight Club, Falling Down, favorite ko Top Gun.
“So in-expose ko ‘yung sarili ko in preparation for these roles kasi alam kong ‘di na ‘to katulad ng mga roles na ginagampanan ko noon so I had to relearn.”
He started his career as a child star following his first runner-up win in Kapuso star search Starstruck Kids in 2004. He was then included in the cast for several Kapuso series doing a younger version of the lead roles like Young Pagaspas in Mulawin, Young Erasmus in Majika, and Young Junjun in La Vendetta.
After graduating from child roles, he was paired with Umali who gave birth to the BiGuel tandem.
Tanfelix and Umali top-billed the Kapuso series Once Upon a Kiss, and Wish I May.
After What We Could Be, Tanfelix is set to star in the upcoming Kapuso live-action adaptation of Voltes-V to air in 2023.
