Kapuso actress Jennylyn Mercado is set to make her showbiz comeback in 2023.
The actress had to take a break from showbiz after giving birth to her daughter with Dennis Trillo in May 2022.
In Dennis Trillo’s interview on Updated with Nelson Canlas on October 18, Mercado made a special appearance where she revealed her upcoming showbiz comeback.
“May gustong mangamusta sa ‘yo,” Dennis told Nelson. “Ex-buntis, ang sexy na ngayon o.”
Canlas then said that he misses seeing Mercado on television. The actress then revealed that she will be back soon.
“Malapit na [soon]. First quarter next year,” said Mercado.
She was working on Love. Die. Repeat. last year when she realized she was pregnant. The taping got postponed and will resume once she is ready to work again. The series is set to premiere in 2023 on the GMA network’s telebabad lineup.
Mercado and Trillo became a couple in 2015. They announced they were engaged and they’re pregnant on November 29, 2021. They tied the knot two weeks later in November 2021.
