Despite a rumored network transfer, Jake Cuenca remained as a Kapamilya.
On September 27, via a tweet, Star Creatives TV announced Cuenca as one of the lead stars of a project featuring Richard Gutierrez, Sue Ramirez, and Maja Salvador.

A Netizen quoted the tweet, saying that the announcement debunked the rumors of Cuenca transferring to the Kapuso Network.
“Debunking the rumor that Jake Cuenca will transfer to GMA. Deserve ni Jake Cuenca for his 16th year as a Kapamilya,” AltA2ZChannel11 posted.
Cuenca quoted the post and replied: “16 years Kapamilya strong.”

Via Instagram Stories, Cuenca confirmed that he is cast in an upcoming ABS-CBN series under Star Creatives.
He is also part of the new ABS-CBN International series titled Cattleya Killer.
In 2006, Cuenca transferred to ABS-CBN from the GMA Network. In February 2022, he renewed his contract with the Kapamilya Network and its talent agency, Star Magic.
Cuenca is known for his projects such as Tayong Dalawa (2009), In the Name of Love (2011), Encantadia (2005), Ang Panday (2017), Precious Hearts Romances Presents: Los Bastardos (2018).
