Social media personality Valentine Rosales shared his thoughts on the viral Rhys Miguel and Patrick Quiroz issue.
Miguel and Quiroz were both stars in the series He’s Into Her (HIH).
In Miguel’s Instagram live on October 11, he revealed that Quiroz molested him during the lock-in taping of HIH.
Netizens then criticized Quiroz’s actions saying that the young actor was unprofessional and a pervert.
However, Rosales wanted to view the situation in a different light as he shared that he will not judge Quiroz right away without hearing his side of the story.
In Rosales’s Facebook post on October 12, he said that many things did not add up to Miguel’s story which is why he wanted to hear Quiroz’s side first.
“Hi Patrick Quiroz, I don’t want to judge so easily without hearing both sides of the story, Patrick Quiroz you may be the oppressor now but what everyone needs to know are the facts. First is it consensual? what’s the agenda? Why just now if the incident occurred a year ago? why not confront and talk privately after the incident? What did Rhys do to you after he made habol when he woke up.
“There are alot of Loopholes. I want to stress out that I am not taking any sides here. It’s just so easy for everyone to come to a verdict condemning the person who is being dragged before knowing the whole story. We have 2 ears the left side and the right. We need to listen to both parties before giving a judgement and a conclusion. Chill out, magulo to since naging Public issue and kumalat na sa Socmed I wish the both of you inner peace and settle this privately if possible,” he said.
On the other hand, Kapamilya artists like Ergyhyll Jeric Panganiban and Sophie Reyes already showed their support for Miguel’s claim that he was sexually harassed by Quiroz.
Both Panganiban and Reyes were part of the series He’s Into Her.
