After being a supporting cast member in False Positive, Binibining Pilipinas 2022 first runner-up Herlene Budol will lead the upcoming GMA Network series titled, Magandang Dilag.
On October 11, on 24 Oras, Budol shared her excitement at working with Kapuso stars such as Christopher De Leon, Sandy Andolong, and Chanda Romero.
“Parang dati pinapanood ko lang sila, ngayon kasama ko na. Parang ‘di pa pumapasok sa utak ko na andito na ‘ko, nakikita ko sila, nakakasama ko na sila, nakakausap ko na,” she said.
Budol revealed that the character she will portray is close to her heart.
Benjamin Alves and Rob Gomez will be Budol’s leading men in the said series.
On October 7, via Instagram, Binibining Pilipinas introduced Budol as the country’s representative for the upcoming Miss Planet International competition in Kampala, Uganda on November 19.
“She is ready to conquer the solar system.
“Binibining Pilipinas 1st Runner Up—Herlene Nicole Budol is the official representative of the Philippines to Miss Planet International on November 19, 2022, in Kampala, Uganda.
“Let us all give our support to Herlene on her journey to bring home our 1st Miss Planet International crown”
Budol’s talent manager, Wilbert Tolentino, announced that he was looking for a translator for her.
“We are looking for a professional TRANSLATOR from Filipino to English and vice versa who is willing to fly to Kampala, Uganda, for the upcoming Miss Planet International this coming November. An interpreter that can speak in front of a large audience and in front of the camera.”
