In the Star Magic Flex online press conference on October 25, Gerald Anderson defined what it means to be a man in today’s world; what others refer to as ‘modern masculinity.
Anderson said, “Medyo old school ako eh. I think a man should just know his responsibilities in life. Kapag may maling ginawa, own to that responsibility. Kapag may tamang ginawa, learn from it. Do more of it.“
Anderson emphasized the importance of family; to love and take care of your loved ones. He also suggested always being a good citizen, a good person, and a good partner. Anderson thinks that a modern man must be respectful, competitive yet humble.
At the age of 33, the hunk actor flexes his current situation where he is happy, content, and motivated to achieve more.
The ‘A Family Affair’ actor believes that his success and failures have led him to the person he is today.
Anderson, together with another actor Sam Milby, is the newest cover of Star Magic’s digital magazine Flex.
The magazine aims to end toxic masculinity by promoting a new idea called modern masculinity.
