Kapuso family gameshow Family Feud continues to score good ratings providing a good pre-programming to Kapuso primetime shows.
Based on the latest rating report from the Nielsen NUTAM People survey, the Dingdong Dantes-hosted game show remains the number 1 afternoon program occupying the number 3 spot on the overall rating chart.
On Monday, October 3, Family Feud scored 11.8%, just below Maria Clara at Ibarra in the second spot with 14.5%.
The following day, Tuesday, October 11, Family Feud’s rating went up by 0.7% at 12.5% and maintained its number 3 position.
Family Feud is a good pre-programming show for its succeeding Kapuso programs.
With good ratings, Kapuso primetime newscast 24 Oras also enjoyed good ratings making it the consistent number 1 program overall.
Due to its good ratings, GMA Network decided to extend its run until next year.
Family Feud is supposed to run until December 2022 only, but because of good reception from the viewers, GMA Network management decided to give it an extended run.
“Ituluy-tuloy na natin iyan. Habang nagbibigay tayo ng kasiyahan, nakakatulong din tayo kasi ang mga televiewers, di ba, they can participate and also win.
“Siyempre, sobra kaming nagagalak kasi, di ba, it’s such an entertaining show. Hindi siya just because mataas ang ratings pero talagang yung feedback ng lahat na nakakapanood, lahat na nagpa-participate, enjoy na enjoy,” said GMA Network’s Senior VP for Entertainment Lilybeth Rasonable.
