At the media conference for the PIE Channel with the press, including LionhearTV, on October 6, Kapamilya artists Elmo Magalona and Vivoree Esclito recalled their experience working together in PIE Night Long Sessions.
Magalona said his fans were supportive of the team-up between him and Esclito.
“Actually, masaya lang ako na I get to work with Vivoree, kasi before nakasama ko siya in acting workshops. And for me naman, very supportive ‘yung fans ko and nowadays naman, they’re very welcoming naman of any partner na makasama ko.
“And since we both love music nga ni Vivoree, like we work very easily dito sa PNL Sessions.”
Esclito agreed with Magalona, noting that it was because fans could see that they both love music.
“Our fans are very supportive of us. With Elmo naman kasi, they know na musically inclined din siya, so talagang nagwo-work ‘yung tandem namin since we both love music nga. And very supportive talaga sila, so there’s nothing challenging sa tandem namin.”
Magalona also recounted what it was like hosting a PIE Night Long Sessions.
“This is the first time na I get to be on the otherside of the spectrum, since mas sanay nga ako na nagpe-perform or acting as a character. Pero this time, I’m the one asking our musical guests kung papaano–like how they work, from their craft. And ‘yun din, since Pie is an interactive channel, na nakaka-engage namin agad ang aming mga ka-TroPie so, nagugustuhan ko din ‘yun pwedeng mag-react ‘yung ating viewers sa mga naririnig nilang songs na binibigay nila sa kanila.”
As for Esclito, aside from hosting PNL Sessions, she also expressed interest in hosting Pinoy Big Brother and ASAP Natin ‘To in the future.
“Ang challenging din ha, kasi first time ko din mag-hosting talaga. Siguro ano na lang, since galing akong PBB, it would be amazing to host PBB one day. And maybe ASAP din, kasi nagperform din ako like that.”
