In the Mano Po Legacy: The Flower Sisters press conference held at Luxent Hotel in Quezon City on October 14; Chinese personality Dustin Yu talked about his experience working for a show that deals [mostly] with the lives of Chinese characters.
Yu, who will reprise his role as Kenneth from the first installment said, “Since Chinese ako, hindi na bago sa akin ‘yung ginagawa sa taping. Minsan may tinatanong sa set, mga ideas, nagbibigay kami nila Kimson, mga Chinese, para makahelp kami sa mga directors namin, sa actors. Sa mga Chinese words, tinutulungan po namin sila.”
Yu will co-star with his fellow Filipino-Chinese personalities Kimson Tan as Steven and Reins Mika as Kayla.
Mano Po Legacy:The Flower Sisters will tell the story of four Filipino-Chinese sisters with very different dreams and ambitions that will eventually pit them against each other.
The lead cast are Angel Guardian as Iris Chua, Thea Tolentino as Dahlia Chua, Beauty Gonzalez as Violet Chua, and Aiko Melendez as Lily Chua.
Mano Po Legacy:The Flower Sisters is the third installment of the series, is an adaptation from the iconic Mano Po film franchise.
Mano Po 3 will premiere on GMA Network on October 31, 2022.
