On October 17, Dapat Alam Mo! host Kim Atienza told the press in an online interview about their plans to explore Korea and various other countries. He revealed that aside from their trip to Korea they also plan to visit other countries for their anniversary.

“Magla-live kami sa maraming bansa … uulitin ko lang, hindi lang sa isang bansa, kun’di sa maraming bansa,” shared Atienza.

According to him, their team would follow the route of the hit movie Train to Busan in Korea. The host continued and said they plan to explore iconic K-Pop and K-Drama sites.

“Kasalukuyang nagri-research ang aming team ng ruta ng Train to Busan at gusto naming baybayin, tahakin yung rutang ‘yan, among other things … Yung mga iconic na mga K-Pop characters, K-drama, pupuntahan namin ‘yan.”

The host added their settled itineraries and plans, and the live broadcasts would air in a few weeks. Atienza hinted at exploring Korean Halloween traditions during their trip, which revealed their travel schedule around November.

Atienza shared his excitement over the absence of lockdowns because of the freedom it has provided their broadcasts. He promised the viewers with a lot more to expect in the coming episodes.

“With those lockdowns, hindi ka makapunta sa mga tao – it’s so difficult to move around, now that it’s open – imagine what Dapat Alam Mo! can offer.”

He stressed that the content will be more interactive and diverse as they can now go internationally. Atienza said they intend to achieve greater success now that lockdowns are no more.

The host celebrated the show’s alternative journalism that he compared with vlogs. He ended with a statement about how journalism can be interactive yet still deliver the truth.
