At the media conference for Christine Bermas’s upcoming Vivamax movie Relyebo with the press, including LionhearTV, on September 22, the Viva artist admitted that she appreciated security guards who fantasized about her.
Bermas clarified that although she appreciated the admiration, she still felt awkward about getting fantasized about by the security guards.
“Ako siguro kasi naka-condo rin ako, may mga security guard din.
“Since may mga security guard sa baba, kung saan ako nakatira, parang minsan, okay naman na-appreciate mo, nakakatuwa kasi parang nakikilala ka nila di ba? But at the same time mafe-feel mo din ‘yung awkwardness.”
As for comments about her performances, she noted that she doesn’t entertain negative criticisms online.
“Ako naman, hindi din naman ako ganon nag-eentertain ng mga comments. Pero, somehow, nagbabasa naman ako ng mga comments either good or bad. For me, parang hindi ko naman siya pinagtutuunan ng pansin. Alam mo sa feeling mo na, alam mo sa sarili mo kung ano ‘yung ginawa mo so ikaw lang talaga ‘yung nakakakikilala sa sarili mo.”
She then shared how she motivates herself despite the negative criticisms online.
“Ako lang din ‘yung nagpapalakas ng loob ko, at the same time, yes, na-appreciate ko naman either good or bad comments. Minsan pag-bad comments pa ‘yan, alam mo ‘yung feeling na mas tumatatag pa ako. Mas gusto ko pa i-improve ‘yung self ko, kung saan man na nakikita nila na parang medyo down ako di ba?
“At the end, sarili mo pa rin naman ‘yung, so parang okay naman ako, tinatanggap ko naman either good or bad comments. I still appreciate that.”
