Several celebrities and netizens could not help but react to the recent infamous statement of the Presidential son and Ilocos Norte Congressman Sandro Marcos.
Sandro is currently at the center of social media frenzy following his statement about the Philippine peso’s weakening value.
In his statement, Marcos said “I would like to make one thing clear… The peso is not weak, because the peso is weak. The peso is weak because the dollar is strong.”
The statement became instant social media “hit” especially for the critics of the Marcos Jr.’s Administration.
Host-DJ Mo Twister in his tweet shared the Manila Bulletin quote artcard of Cong. Marcos with caption in a paraphrased statement into: “I would like to make one thing clear. You’re not stupid because you’re stupid. You appear to be stupid because the average person is much smarter than you.”

Former Miss Trans Global and LGBTQIA advocate Mela Habijan, meanwhile, issued a warning that Sandro’s statement is an example of a logic which shouldn’t be emulated.
She also advised netizens to study harder.
“Mahigpit na paalala sa mga mag-aaral, ito ang logic na HINDI DAPAT tinutularan. Kaya mag-aral tayo nang mabuti.”
