At the media conference for Us X Her, which LionhearTV covered on October 22, Viva artist Angeli Khang considered their sex scene in the upcoming Vivamax movie an art.
Khang highlighted the difference between her scene with co-stars Kiko Estrada and AJ Raval to her other projects under Viva.
“The sexy scenes in this movie, it’s very different from others kasi ito parang ito, hindi talaga siya sexy scene sa totoo lang. Noong inexplain sa amin at noong pinasuot kami ng mga nude na damit, it looked like an art.”
She also noted she appreciated the theatrical and artistic aspects of Us X Her.
“The sexy scene in this movie is not really like very–it’s wild on it’s way, pero may meaning siya na matutunan doon sa scene na ‘yun kasi it’s very theatrical, very artistic. And ito ‘yung isa sa mga movie na na-appreciate ko ‘yung sex scenes.”
She then confirmed that she was open to doing artistic sexy scenes in the future.
“Yes of course, I love artistic things, as an actress or an actor, we give color to the script kaya it’s really a good thing parang mas naa-appreciate ko siya kapag nakikita ko talaga ‘yung kahulugan ng bawat scene, bawat movie. And lalong lalo na sa mga sex scenes. But I think it won’t be similar kasi bawat movie may iba’t ibang kwento, but I’d love to.”
Khang expressed her hopes of having lesser sex scenes in her future projects with Viva.
“Sana mag-lessen na ‘yung mga sexy scenes ko like UsXHer and also Girl Friday. I hope mapunta naman ako sa mga roles na katulad ng movie na ‘to at movie ng Girl Friday na more on acting, less on katawan. Baka feel ko nagsasawa na ‘yung mga tao sa katawan ko. So I hope mabigyan ako ng mga wholesome movies.”
Angeli Khang stars in Us X Her alongside fellow Viva artists AJ Raval and Kiko Estrada. The cast also features Bob Jbeili, Shehyee, and MJ Cayabyab.
Under the direction of Jules Katanyag, Us X Her premieres via Vivamax Plus on November 21 and streams via Vivamax on November 25.
