On October 21, Alapaap cast Angela Morena, Alona Navarro, and Ali Asistio shared their thoughts on the push for mandatory drug testing for actors.
At the media conference for Alapaap, which LionhearTV attended, Morena said she favored the push for celebrities to undergo mandatory drug testing before doing projects.
“Yes, I am confident to do drug test po kasi wala ka naman ikakatakot kung wala ka naman itatago, tinatago, right?”
Navarro also agreed to have mandatory drug tests before going into the set.
“Yes po, ako okay naman. I’m good with that naman kasi ayun, hindi ko pa rin naman nata-try ‘yung drugs. So ‘yun, I’m good with that.”
Asistio affirmed that he was willing to undergo drug testing if it was necessary to do projects.
“Ako okay naman din, kung kailangan talaga sa shoot or something, pwede naman akong magpa-drug test kasi wala naman–hindi ko pa na-experience maging ganon or–so ayun.”
The push for mandatory drug testing for artists came after the arrest of Dominic Roco.
Aside from the discussion about mandatory drug testing, the cast also talked about the challenges they faced filming the series, from emotionally intense scenes to gory sequences.
