Amid his issue, the PBB alumnus and former RISE artist, reportedly switching to a new network, will possibly join his fellow artist whom he accused of molestation.
Pinoy Big Brother alumnus Rhys Miguel is reportedly moving to GMA Network, amid the allegations he recently launched against his fellow former ABS-CBN talent Patrick Quiroz. Both were previously part of Star Magic’s sister talent agency, Rise Artists. Miguel and Quiroz may likely cross paths again in GMA Network.
Official announcement from GMA Network and its talent management arm, Sparkle Artist Center, is yet to confirm the report.
Last week, Miguel took to social media to reveal serious allegations of molestation and rape against Quiroz. Miguel claimed Quiroz molested him during the lock-in taping of the web series, He’s Into Her, in which they were both in the cast. The PBB alumnus also claimed Quiroz raped a female co-star, whose identity remains undisclosed. Miguel revealed his accusations via a short Instagram video, which he said will have a longer, more detailed version soon.
Miguel also accused his former talent management of not doing anything about the case, which ABS-CBN denied via an official statement. ABS-CBN insisted that it tried to settle the case by asking both Quiroz and Miguel to cooperate with the Network’s internal investigation of the matter. It can be recalled, however, that Quiroz deactivated all his contacts and social media accounts, and went back to the United States to take a break. Miguel, meanwhile, allegedly did not cooperate with ABS-CBN’s investigations, as well.
Both male stars got dismissed from He’s Into Her, with Quiroz leaving the first season prematurely. Miguel’s character did not return for its second season after completing the first one.
Quiroz has been performing on the Kapuso Sunday musical variety show, All Out Sundays, since early this year.
