Wowowin host Willie Revillame is ready to support Vhong Navarro after the TV host faced rape allegations anew.
On August 2022, the Court of Appeals (CA) again ordered for the filing of rape and acts of lasciviousness charges toward Navarro.
The allegations got filed by Deniece Cornejo as she claimed that the TV host raped her back in 2014.
Navarro surrendered to the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) for the investigation. He got presented with a warrant of arrest with no recommended bail.
In Cristy Fermin’s YouTube vlog on September 22, she revealed that Willie Revillame has helped and will continue to help Navarro.
She claimed that Revillame gave Navarro a 1-million check after the younger TV host got beaten up by Cornejo’s friends back in 2014.
“Handa raw tulungan ni Willie Revillame si Vhong Navarro sa kaniyang kinahihinatnan,” siad Fermin.
“Alam niyo po, hindi lang ngayon. Eto po ah, hindi na ako magpapaalam kay Willie Revillame pero totoo at alam ko po ang katotohanan. Dumalaw po sa Willie Revillame noon sa ospital, kay Vhong Navarro, nag-iwan siya ng P1 million na tseke.
“Ang sabi niya kay Vhong, ‘Lipat ka ng kwarto, ‘yung mas malaki. Kasi napakaliit nito, kapag sabay-sabay na dumalaw ang mga kasamahan at kaibigan mo, mapupuno.’ Tapos ‘yung mga doktor, parang magkakapalitan na sila ng mukha. Nag-iwan ng isang milyon na tseke si Willie Revillame, hindi lang po ngayon. Noon pa man po,” she added.
Meanwhile, Atty. Ferdinand Topacio, the lawyer of Deniece Cornejo shared that their camp has prepared to file contempt charges against Vhong Navarro’s wife Tanya Bautista and his lawyer Atty. Alma Mallonga for their “statements that are sub judice in nature.”
