Aljur Abrenica sought Yana Fuentes’s forgiveness after their first kissing scene in the movie Pula ang Kulay ng Gabi–the newbie sexy star shared on September 8.
During the press preview of the movie, Fuentes first revealed her working experience with the actor who left her intimidated during the first day of their shooting.
The AQ Prime talent was concerned that Abrenica might be “nakakatakot” or “hindi siya namamansin.” However, after getting to know the actor, her inhibitions faded.
“Pero actually, sobrang bait niya at tsaka sinusuportahan niya kaming lahat. Kasi sabi ko rin na first movie ko ito. So medyo binibigyan niya kami ng advise. Sobrang bait niya.”
Regarding Fuentes’s first-ever kissing scene, Abrenica apologized for the former’s forgiveness.
“Noong una po, nagulat ako. Nagulat ako kasi first kissing scene ko sa isang movie. Pero supportive din siya, gina-guide niya rin ako. Tapos after ng kissing scene, kasi alam niyang Japanese ako, nagso-sorry siya, nagba-bow siya.”
Though the actor was notorious for having his leading ladies fall in love with him, Fuentes was certain that she treated him in a “professional” manner.
“Yes, attractive siya. Pero for me kasi, career talaga muna ang focus ko. Mas naka-focus ako sa tinuturo ni Direk Jojo na paano umiyak, paano mag-akting. So medyo hindi ko pa nakita ‘yung hunk.”
She didn’t even ask him about his personal life while on the set though they are friends.
“Hindi ko po tinatanong kung may karelasyon sila. Basta sa’kin, work is work. So after no’n, professional lang po. Hindi rin ako masiyadong nakikipag-usap after. Pero close kami as friends.”
Pula ang Kulay ng Gabi is a crime thriller by filmmaker Jojo Nadela and also stars Zia Zamora, Rob Sy, Elijah Filamor, and award-winning actor Soliman Cruz.
