Kapamilya star Vivoree Esclito highlighted the value of self-care when getting broken-hearted at the media conference for the made-for-YouTube Kapamilya series Love Bites with the press, including LionhearTV, on September 14.
Esclito shared her self-care regimen when mending her broken heart, focusing on her growth.
“Hindi ko naman maitatanggi na like I’ve had mga paano ba–mga same with like guys before pero sobrang importante talaga sa akin ng self care. Like, everytime na parang I get my heart broken talaga parang I focus on myself more, parang I want to grow on myself, and become a better person, and you know once na dumating na ‘yung tao para sayo talaga, you’ll be fully prepared talaga.
“And you know na kung ano ‘yung para sayo talaga. You’re worth na. Hindi na siya gaya ng dati na you don’t know about love na wala ka din parang magagawa once you get your heart broken.”
As for her career, she discussed her hopes of pursuing music while working on acting projects.
“I really do think I still have a long way to go, and marami pa akong pwedeng matutunan and ‘yun nga sa mga roles ko din. Marami pa akong kailangan ma-discover about myself. Marami pa din akong roles na gustong gampanan.
“Aside from acting naman, I also want to explore music, kasi first love ko talaga ‘yung music. singing and dancing. I learned to love acting lang after joining PBB, after joining acting workshops. So madami pa po akong gustong matutunan at ma-experience.”
As for creating chemistry with her Love Bites episode co-star Anthony Jennings, she cited the significance of building friendship on set to nurture their chemistry on screen.
“Friendship is the best foundation talaga in–kahit anong aspect talaga in life. Tsaka para ma-build din ‘yung trust para, you can give and take din sa mga eksena.”
Esclito and Jennings star in the first offering of the ABS-CBN and RCD Narratives creation, Love Bites.
Love Bites streams on the Kapamilya YouTube channel starting September 16 until November 2022.
