At the media conference for the Beautéderm with the press, including LionhearTV, on September 22, Kapamilya actor Piolo Pascual admitted that he got disheartened by the postponement of the ABS-CBN Ball.
Pascual said he was looking forward to seeing his fellow Kapamilyas at the ABS-CBN Ball.
“It’s /really/ disheartening because /a lot of/ people have /really/ prepared for it and bought their clothes, gowns, and coats for the guys. Just like what I told you, I was really looking forward to it because of the get-together you get to see your old-time friends.”
He then expressed support for his home Network amid the postponement of the much-anticipated event.
“Hopefully, one of these days. Mahirap eh, bugbog tayo, kailangan natin i-support, kailangan natin i-encourage ‘yung kompanya ng network. Mahirap, mahirap, pero they need our support more than ever, that’s why nandito lang po ako, and hopefully one of these days it will happen.”
He then expressed his hopes of having the ABS-CBN Ball happen as soon as possible.
“A [lot of] us are of course [disheartened] from the postponement, but as I was told, it would be/ held soon–hopefully. I just want to encourage those na of course, nagpagawa ng damit nila. It’s still happening– it’s still happening sometime soon. So keep on praying for us to get back on our feet and to be able to celebrate with guys sometime soon. Keep praying for us.”
The Kapamilya network originally scheduled the ABS-CBN Ball for October 2. However, the network had to postpone the much-awaited event.
Pascual’s most recent projects are the Kapamilya sitcom–My Papa Pi and the Philippine adaptation of the South-Korean series–Flower of Evil, under a partnership between ABS-CBN and Viu.
Now, he renewed his commitment to one of the leading beauty brands in the country–Beautéderm.
