Miko Raval stated that he’s happy to know their fans enjoyed his pairing with Dimples Romana at the media conference for ‘Love Bites’ with the press, including LionhearTV, on September 14, 2022.
Raval said he felt happy that their fans from Viral: Scandal enjoyed their on-screen chemistry.
“I just wanted to act, I just wanted to prove something to myself, and then it resulted in a nice– nagresulta siya sa magandang proyekto na napanood ng lahat, na-enjoy ng lahat.
“So very happy ako na na-enjoy nila ‘yung partnership namin ni Dimps dahil grabe talaga si Dimps, nako kapag nakatrabaho mo siya, first day pa lang talagang mag-oopen up ka sa kaniya dahil the way she talks, the way she– parang ilalapit niya ‘yung sarili niya sayo.”
He then highlighted how lucky and blessed he is for working with Romana on their follow-up project.
“Hindi ka mai-intimidate to work with her, to open up to her as a friend, as an actor. So, it helped me, it helped us, ‘yung family doon na maging very close talaga kami sa isa’t isa. So naging magandan nga ‘yung resulta niya and ito nabigyan kami ng follow-up project. I’m very happy, and I’m very lucky, and I’m very blessed na mabigyan dito.”
As for Romana, she recounted how she advises younger stars like their ‘Love Bites’ co-star Lance Carr.
“Ako kasi, it’s not in me if they don’t ask. Pero, ako I think it’s /important/ na like what you said kanina, everybody has to be heard and seen. I think it’s an initiative of a simple kind of love, like when you see somebody, at tao ito, human being ito, we all want to be heard and seen. Bago tayo mahalin dapat makita muna tayo.
“So ako, ang nakikita ko kasi kapag nakakasama ko ‘yung mga kabataan, kagaya ni Lance. Sabi ko, ‘Uy Lance, Kamusta ka.’ Tapos bisaya pa siya, tapos medyo nakakapagsalita siya ako ng kaunting bisaya. Even Angelica too. Parang it was a conscious effort from Miko and I to get to know the kids at that level.”
Raval and Romana star in an episode of the ABS-CBN and RCD Narratives creation, ‘Love Bites,’ alongside Lance Carr.
The made-for-YouTube series streams on the Kapamilya YouTube channel starting September 16 and lasts up to November 2022.
