Viva artist Jela Cuenca discussed her restrictions in doing sexy scenes at the media conference of Girl Friday with the press, including LionhearTV, on September 12.
Cuenca said she began establishing restrictions in sexy scenes when she started in the erotic film genre.
“Sa akin, yeah, first pa naman may restrictions–first movie ko pa lang naman may restrictions na po ako. Hindi all out.”
She then recounted how she built a bond with Girl Friday co-star Angeli Khang before doing their intimate scenes.
“Kaming dalawa ni Angeli, since first movie pa lang namin, magkasama na kami, so very close na namin. For me, mabilis lang siyang gawin, parang tawanan na lang after. Parang bonding-bonding. And ‘yun nga tulad ng sabi ko kanina, it’s not hard for me to work with a girl.”
She also recalled working with the seasoned actor Jay Manalo in Girl Friday.
“Okay naman po ‘yung to work with him. He’s very professional when it comes to work. And ano din, hindi naman siya mahirap ka work. Tapos nagsasabi din kami ng kunyari anong gagawin, sinasabihan niya kami ng hindi maiilang, kasi it’s normal naman. It’s work, so let’s be professional.”
