Janno Gibbs made a hint tirade over the word ‘confidential.’

On September 20, via an Instagram post, Gibbs jokingly posted about the word confidential.

“Pag nag-withdraw ako ng 100k sa bangko at tinanong ako ni misis ‘Para saan yan?’ at sinagot ko ng ‘confidential’ basag ang mukha ko!” Gibbs posted.

Netizens have reacted to Gibbs’s post.

“HAHAHAHAHA SANA ALL MALAKI ANG BUDGET, SIR JANNO NO!”

“Para mas professional, ang dating ‘secret’ ngayon ‘confidential’ na ang term. This is politics and is only in the Philippines.”

“Tama, dapat lang may transparency. Ang kapal nga ng pagmumukha nung pinapasuweldo lang naman ng taong bayan tapos humihirit ng confidential funds. May mga shunga pa ngang nagtatanggol e, hindi yata naiintindihan ang meaning ng confidential fund. Okay lang sigurong nakawan ‘yung mga ‘yon.”

On September 20, Gibbs reacted to a basher’s comment on his initial post.

“HOY KUPAL BUHAY KA NAMAN HANEP KA SA PATAMA MO KAY VP SARAH…HINDI KAMI B*BO PARA DI ITO MA-NOTICE..BAKIT SA SOBRANG PANISIN MO NA KAILANGAN MO NANG PR OR PROPAGANDA PARA MAKILALA KA ULIT UL*L!!! “Hoy p*kinginamo! Unang una wag kang bastos! Pangalawa, pera ng taumbayan yun. May Karapatan tayo malaman saan mapupunta gago,” Gibbs responded.

On September 14, Vice President and Education Secretary Sara Duterte explained that the Office of the Vice President (OVP) and the Department of Education (DepEd) are two separate entities during the House appropriations committee budget briefing.

“The OVP and the DepEd are two separate entities. They are two separate departments of the government. And they have separate mandates as well.

“The success of a project, activity, or program depends on very good intelligence and surveillance because you want to target specific issues and challenges,” she said.

The confidential fund of the said government departments has been the hot topic online following the P150 and P500 million confidential fund of DepEd and OVP.
