Janella Salvador considered herself a single mother and hinted that she might have already ended her relationship with Markus Paterson.
On September 3, via an interview, Salvador shared similarities between her and Regina, one of the characters she portrays in Mars Ravelo’s Darna: The TV Series.
“Kasi si Regina, kapag meron siyang ipinaglalaban, as long as alam niyang nasa tama siya, ilalaban niya talaga.”
Salvador said she is like Regina, who fights for the things she thinks that is right.
She got asked about the last thing she had to fight for.
“Being a single mom,” Salvador answered.
“Talagang nilalaban ko iyon. At the end of the day, alam kong kaya ko naman siya. As much as I love the people around me who are always there to help me, I always want to know na kaya kong gawin. I don’t want it to sound bad kasi, pero I can rely on myself na hindi ko kailangang humingi ng tulong sa iba.”
On September 3, Paterson stated it is best not to have a relationship with someone, who is also from showbiz.
“Kung may lessons ako sa mga relationships ko, never to date someone in the industry, bro. Huwag niyo i-cut iyan, seryoso ako diyan.
“Sa lahat ng mga manonood na batang artista or gusto mag-artista, huwag kayong mag-date ng ibang babaeng artista,” he said.
In 2020, Salvador and Paterson announced themselves as a couple. The two stars have a one-year-old son named Jude.
