One of the highlights of recent episodes of Drag Race Philippines is the OPM Divas: The Rusical, wherein the Queens impersonated iconic Filipina singers.
Some say that impersonation is the highest form of flattery. However, the question that pops into mind is how did our OPM Divas react to the Drag Race PH Queens’ impersonation?
Regine Velasquez-Alcasid, a guest judge for the episode, praised the Precious Paula Nicole’s impersonation of the ‘Asia’s Songbird.’
“Alam mo ‘yung natatawa ako sa sarili ko kasi ‘pag may nagre-Regine nako-confuse na ako kasi alam mo ‘yung parang nasa peripheral vision mo ‘yung mukha mo.
“I love the Regine, all the nuances, again the lip sync is perfect. Ikaw talaga si Regine hindi mo na pinansin na nandito pala ako. I love it.”
The Drag Race PH judge Kaladkaren tweeted a photo of Jolina Magdangal’s positive reaction to Eva Le Queen’s impersonation of the Filipina host-singer-actress, which the Drag Race PH Queen retweeted.

As for Lady Morgana’s impersonation, a netizen posted a screenshot of Lea Salonga’s reaction in an Instagram post wherein she praised the Drag Race PH Queen for her performance, acknowledging that the Tony Award winner is a challenge to impersonate.

During the episode, Precious Paula Nicole snagged the maxi-challenge for the week for her impersonation of the ‘Asia’s Songbird,’ She also won the challenge thanks to her oracle-inspired pearl-themed runway look.
Shockingly, one of the fan favorites, Turing, sashayed away after landing the bottom two with Lady Morgana and having to lip-sync for her life.
