GMA Network warned Netizens of fake news regarding the network’s announcement of the rumored separation of Heart Evangelista and Senator Chiz Escudero.
On September 8, via an Instagram post, GMA Network informed the Netizens to be cautious of fake news online.
“Beware of fake news, mga Kapuso,” the caption said.
“Hindi totoo na maglalabas ang GMA ng statement tungkol sa nasabing issue. Beware of fake news, mga Kapuso,” they added in the comment section.

GMA Network did not confirm whether Evangelista and Escudero have ended their relationship.
Allegations of Evangelista and Escudero’s separation became viral online after the Netizens noticed the former had dropped the latter’s surname from her Instagram account.
The Netizens are accusing Escudero of having another woman. The two have yet to confirm the breakup rumors.
In 2015, Evangelista and Escudero tied the knot in Balesin.
