In an episode of Toni Talks aired on Sunday, September 4, Ruru Madrid shared that his girlfriend Bianca Umali became an Iglesia ni Cristo (INC) member following their relationship.
Madrid is from a family of Iglesia ni Cristo (INC) members.
The Kapuso star said Umali is “the one” for him as he saw how she took a risk for him.
“Before ka maging INC, eight months. Kailangan mo aralin ‘yung 25 lessons, and then after that kailangan mo pa ‘yung tinatawag naming ‘sinusubok.’ Dun kailangan hindi ka makapag-miss ng kahit isang pagsamba. Kailangan mo makapunta dun sa mga tinawang naming mga pulong, na lahat yun dapat makumpleto mo,” he shared.
“For her [Bianca] po kasi, inaral niya po muna and same with me. Kaya somehow ‘di ko masasabi na it’s because of me kaya niya ginawa ‘yun.”
“I mean simula nong time na umabot ako sa point na pwede na akong magkaroon ng relationship, ngayon lang ako nakakita ng tao na parang susuporta ako nang sobra… at willing siya mag-take ng risk para maipakita niya lang sa akin kung gaano ako kaimportante sa kaniya.
“Ang sarap sa pakiramdam na parang lahat ng gusto ko sa isang babae, nasa kaniya na,” the Lolong actor said.
Madrid admitted that he and Umali hid their relationship before to protect their respective love teams. Their sweet photos together posted online sparked their rumored relationship.
It was in August 2022 when they confirmed their relationship as a ‘couple’ for four years now.
