Kapamilya star Benedix Ramos admitted on August 22 that he felt pressure when he joined showbiz after exiting Pinoy Big Brother.
At the online media conference for Bida Star Versus with the press, including LionhearTV, Ramos noted that he first felt the pressure when he entered the Pinoy Big Brother Kumunity Season Celebrity Edition.
“Actually, from the start din naman po, noong nag-start ‘yung celebrity edition, sa akin po talaga ‘yung pressure. Kasi pumasok ako sa bahay ni Kuya noong celebrity edition siya. So, parang ako yung nakaramdam talaga ng pressure, like lahat sila talaga artista na, lahat sila celebrity na, so ako ‘yung unang nakaramdam ng pressure to be fair.”
He then highlighted the bond he built with his fellow housemates after they exited the PBB House.
“And paglabas ng bahay ni Kuya and being friends with them, super naging ano naman siya, naging supportive naman ang bawat isa sa mga projects namin. ‘Yung iba, hindi man kami madalas na magkasama or magkausap-usap, ‘yung support pa rin po alam mo naman na nandiyan at mararamdaman mo naman siya.”
As for his career, Ramos stressed that he’s focused on his job and growth in the showbiz industry.
“At sa akin walang pressure, lalo na kapag nagtratrabaho ka lang, ‘yung isip mo lang talaga is focused ka lang sa sarili mo sa career growth mo, wala ka naman dapat i-compare sa mga iba. Kahit hindi man peer mo, or sa mga ibang artists kasi I’m just really focusing on the beginning of my career. Here sa ABS-CBN.”
Ramos joins fellow hosts Karina Bautista and Anji Salvacion for the Kapamilya talent search, Bida Star Versus.
The newest season of Star Hunt’s talent search Bida Star Versus features a competition between male versus female contestants for the Ultimate Bida Star title.
Bida Star Versus premieres on September 5 through the KUMU and Facebook account of Star Hunt.
