The upcoming international movie In My Mother’s Skin of Beauty Gonzalez had her beaming with excitement on September 9, Friday.
The film, which will be released soon, is expected to be shown in Korea. It stars Gonzalez, Jasmine Curtis-Smith, Angeli Bayani, and Felicity Kyle Napuli.
“I’m really excited kasi first dark film ko ‘to na no make-up and all the way horror talaga,” she said during her launching as the newest face of Beautederm held at the Luxent Hotel in Quezon City.
Gonzalez was also proud that her fellow Cebuano, Direk Kenneth Lim Dagatan, directed the film.
In My Mother’s Skin is a co-production between studios from the Philippines, Singapore, and Taiwan.
The film tells the story of a girl “who trusts a flesh-eating fairy to save her dying mother when they are left behind in an isolated mansion, near the end of the Second World War.”
Along with the international movie, Gonzalez will also headline, After All, a romantic film with Kelvin Miranda.
The actress will also be playing a villain in GMA Network’s upcoming series Mano Po Legacy: The Flower Sisters.
In the meantime, she is the newest face of BeautéHaus, a subsidiary of the Beautéderm Group of Companies.
