At the media conference for her contract signing with Viva Artist Agency, with the press, including LionhearTV, on September 23, new Viva artist Bea Binene maintained her decision to be open to working with GMA Network.
Binene said that GMA Network would remain with her home network.
“Actually, kakasabi ko nga lang po sa mga–like sa previous manager ko, kila Tito Tracy, ‘Oh Tito, nandito pa rin ako ha.’ Kasi nga, kung may magandang opportunity, kung may maganda pong proyekto, and sobrang game po ako, kasi siyempre home network ‘yun eh. They’ll be forever be a part of me, ganyan.”
She then highlighted she and the Viva Artist Agency are open to talks with the Kapuso Network regarding collaborations.
“Pero, ngayon nga po kung saan po ‘yung nasa VAA na ako, siyempre ano po ‘yung mapag-uusapan naman. I think ‘yung mga decisions ganyan, and ‘yung mga projects, mapag-uusapan with VAA.”
She pointed out that her new home would allow her to work with a wider variety of artists from different companies, including LionhearTV.
“Marami po, ngayon na hindi lang tayo sa GMA like before, so for sure mas marami pa tayo makakatrabahong bago na hindi ko nakatrabaho before kasi nga mas wider ‘yung opportunities ngayon.
“Very much looking forward po ako na siyempre makatrabaho ‘yung ibang Viva artists na fina-follow ko sa Instagram or ‘yung mga nakatrabaho ko na sa GMA Network, na medyo nawala ng sandali.”
Binene started her career and her Kapuso journey in StarStruck Kids in 2004. Her first Kapuso project was ‘Kilig… Pintig… Yanig…,’ which premiered in the same year.
She also worked in various Kapuso series such as Reel Love Presents: Tween Hearts, Alice Bungisngis and her Wonder Walis, and ‘Carmela. She was also part of GMA Network’s hit fantaseryes Mulawin VS Ravena,’ ‘Luna Blanca, and Ilumina.
Earlier, rumors surfaced regarding her non-contract renewal with the Kapuso Network. However, Binene returns to showbiz under the Viva Artist Agency after a year of hiatus because of the pandemic.
