On September 23, Kapuso star Barbie Forteza debunked rumors claiming that she and Jak Roberto broke up.
At the media conference for ‘Maria Clara at Ibarra’ with the press, including LionhearTV, Forteza felt surprised when she heard the rumors claiming that she and Roberto had already split.
“Break na kami? Diyos ko, tatawagan ko hindi kasi namin alam. Iinform ko siya, para alam niya, talaga ba mayroon nanaman?”
She then clarified that Roberto was hands-on with attending to her family.
“Last time I checked, wala namang nababanggit sa akin si Jak. Magkasama kami kanina, hinatid ko ‘yung kapatid ko at ‘yung pamangkin ko pabalik ng America, hinatid namin sila sa Airport, Very hands-on Ninong siya sa pamangkin ko which is very touching for me kasi naunang umuwi ‘yung kapatid ko from the U.S. bago ako nakapag-leave sa trabaho.
“So habang wala ako siya talaga ‘yung naging hands-on. Siya ‘yung nag-asikaso sa kapatid ko, sa buong family ko while I’m gone. Lagi siyang nagpupunta sa bahay to check on my parents. ‘Yung mga chikiting naming mga aso sa bahay.”
Forteza then maintained that she and her beau were still happy together.
“Nagulat nanaman ako, break nanaman kami, nag-break na kami dati ah.
“To clear everything, napakasaya po ng puso ko ngayon dahil masayang-masaya po kami ni Jak. I cannot explain how happy we are right now.
“And ‘yun nga na nakasama ko ‘yung pamilya ko nakasama ko ang kapatid ko, ang pamangkin ko, ang brother-in-law ko, kasama si Jak with my whole family, nagkaroon ako ng time para makasama sila ng matagal and ngayon mayroon akong napakalaking proyekto which I’m very thankful, so all in all, napakasaya ng puso ko ngayon.”
