GMA Network afternoon prime’s newest drama series Abot Kamay na Pangarap easily captured the hearts of viewers as it recorded high ratings on its first 2 episodes.
Premiered on Monday, September 5, the Kapuso afternoon drama easily beats its rival program It’s Showtime, 6.3% vs 2.9%.
On its second episode, September 6, the Carmina Villaroel-Jillian Ward-led series even went higher by 0.3% at 6.6% leading It’s Showtime by 3.8% at 2.8%.
Aside from TV ratings, the series also made its presence felt online as it became of the top trending topics on Twitter Philippines.
In its pilot episode, the hashtag #AbotKamayNaPangrap landed on the top 3 trending topics on Twitter Philippines as netizens rave about its story.
