Ysabel Ortega admitted on August 24 that she is not alone in following the success of the recently-concluded Bolera.
Ortega leads the upcoming series What We Could Be together with Miguel Tanfelix and Yasser Marta.
The artist said that she is pressured, but, “it wasn’t just me who was part of the pilot”—she knew the whole cast will help her make sure that the show will be great.
“So it wasn’t just me who really made the series come to life, it was all of us. I feel like it was our camaraderie, it was our chemistry,” she said.
Ortega added, “Sobrang grateful ako kasi unang scene pa lang, talagang nag-click na kami as a family. Yung ensemble namin, sobrang saya lang na makatrabaho sila. Kasi sobrang gaan and talagang feeling ko na we made the most of our scenes.
“So yeah, there is pressure but I know na because how talented of my co-actors are as well, and how grateful I am na nakaeksena sila, I think that’s really what will make the viewers fall in love with our series.”
What We Could Be is produced by Quantum Films. It includes Joyce Burton, Soliman Cruz, Alec Bovick, Bimbo Bautista, Art Acuña, Joel Saracho, and Celeste Legaspi.
Former child actor EJ Jallorina, together with Sparkle talents Vince Crisostomo, Pam Prinster, Hailey Mendes, and Lia Salvador were also included as part of the supporting cast.
The series is directed by award-winning director Jeffrey Jeturian.
What We Could Be will begin airing on Monday, August 29.
