Vice Ganda and Ion Perez shed light on the separation rumors, saying people should not spread gossip.
On August 17, Vice and Ion responded to rumors of their supposed breakup.
“Huwag kayo gumagawa… Mga chismosa kayo! Hiwalay na raw kami ni Ion? Itong mga demonyong ‘to! Pero masaya kami rito, masaya kaming pamilya, masaya kaming mag-jojowa, kaya huwag kayong [gumagawa ng tsimis].”
Vice said that he and Ion are happy together as a couple.
Anne Curtis asked the two if they missed each other after being apart for nearly a week.
“Oo. Pero ‘yung six straight days tapos alam naming malayo, first time ‘yon.
We missed each other,” Vice answered.
Breakup rumors of Vice and Ion circulated on social media after Ion spent six days in Japan with his family, while Vice and his family went to Bohol.
Bala-balanse, time with our families. And then, back in each other’s arms! Gano’n!” Vice said.
On August 16, Cristy Fermin said Vice was unhappy.
In October 2021, Vice and Ion exchanged their vows in Las Vegas. But it was only on February 13 that the former disclosed their wedding to the public via a vlog.
The two were engaged on February 21, 2020, but they decided to keep it from the public.
