According to the July 30-31 survey of AGB Nielsen, the weekend leaderboards are still dominated by GMA Network programs, while A2Z and TV5 shows struggled to penetrate the chart.

On July 30, all programs in the Top 10 are from GMA Network, and out of the Top 20 shows, only four came from TV5 and A2Z—Idol Philippines (11th, 4.9%), Maalala Mo Kaya (14-15th, 3.4%), It’s Showtime (19-20th, 2.6%), Rolling In It Philippines (19-20th, 2.6%).

On the said day, 24 Oras Weekend scored the highest with 13.6%, followed by Magpakailanman with 13.2%, Jose and Maria’s Bonggang Villa with 13.1%, Pepito Manaloto: Tuloy Ang Kwento with 12.4%, and completing the Top 5 is Imbestigador with 9.5%.

Also included in the Top 10 are Apoy Sa Langit with 8.2%, Tadhana with 7.9%, Wish Ko Lang with 7.7%, Daddy’s Gurl with 7.3%, and Eat Bulaga with 6.3%.

For Sunday, Kapuso Mo, Jessica Soho still reigns with 15.6% followed by Happy ToGetHer with 12.6%, 24 Oras Weekend with 11.9%, Daig Kayo ng Lola Ko with 11.3%, and Amazing Earth with 5.4%.

TV5’s Honda 47th Season PBA Philippine Cup Quarterfinals Game 3 (6th, 5.0%), A2Z and TV5’s FPJ: Da King (8-9th, 4.0%) and Idol Philippines (10th, 3.9%), are the only non-Kapuso shows in the Top 10.

Other programs in the Top 10 for Sunday are The Boobay and Tekla Show (7th, 4.6%), and Kapuso Movie Festival (8-9th, 4.0%).

For the entire Top 20 chart, only seven programs came from TV5 and A2Z.
