In a tweet on Wednesday, August 24, Suzette Doctolero assured fans of Encantadia’s comeback.
A netizen shared that fans from Myanmar and the Philippines are worried Encantadia might not have a season 2 since Gabbi Garcia will be part of another show and Solenn Heussaff is also pregnant.

Doctolero said they should not worry as Encantadia’s return will push through.

Via an omnibus plug of GMA Network’s upcoming 2022 shows aired during the Kapuso New Year Countdown on December 31, 2021–Encantadia was revealed to return via its spin-off titled Sang’gre.
Sang’gre is a story about a young girl who develops magical abilities without realizing she is the only daughter of Danaya, the youngest of the four Sang’gre sisters and the keeper of the earth gem.
Diana Zubiri played Danaya in the 2005-2006 version and Sanya Lopez in the 2016-2017 version.
The other Sang’gres in the 2016-2017 version included Gabbi Garcia, Glaiza de Castro, and Kylie Padilla.
