Xian Lim and Ashley Ortega will be the lead stars of GMA Network’s upcoming TV series titled Frozen Love.
On August 10, via an interview, Lim and Ortega announced that they would star in the said series.
“When I found out na magkakaroon ako ng project halos maiyak-iyak ako noon because aside from getting a huge break from GMA, it’s about figure skating pa which is like a dream role of mine ever since I started showbiz.”
Ortega said she is thankful to the Kapuso Network for giving her a project that involves her passion.
She mentioned frequently training with Xian Lim, her on-screen partner.
“It’s a whole new playing field. I don’t want to let people down. I think it’s a kind of riding a bike in a way. Parang pagsakay ng motor, you really need to spend hours, walang shortcut. I just wanna be the hardest working person in the room.”
Lim shared that their training is challenging.
Frozen Love follows the story of a promising figure skater whose dreams will be challenged on and off the skating rink.
Ortega is known for her roles in Kapuso’s Dormitoryo (2013) and My Destiny (2014). She started doing commercials for the network and eventually ventured into acting.
Lim is known for his roles in My Binondo Girl (2011), Ina, Kapatid, Anak (2012–13), Bakit Hindi Ka Crush ng Crush Mo? (2013), Bride for Rent (2014), and Everything About Her (2016).
His recent projects with the Kapuso Network include False Positive and Love. Die. Repeat.
