On August 23, Julia Barretto admitted that she goes 100% in love when it feels right.
At the digital media conference for Expensive Candy with the press, including LionhearTV, Barretto addressed how far she’s willing to go for her loved ones.
“Just/ always be 100% if the love feels right.”
She also shared her thoughts about love being easy and inexpensive.
“Hindi dapat mahirap magmahal, hindi dapat mahal ang magmahal. Dapat madali, with love it should be easy.”
As for her privacy, Barretto highlighted the importance of creating boundaries between her personal life and work.
“I don’t know. I’ve always been very private. Just recently, with my personal life, with everything that has happened before, I’ve learned to be protective of my personal life. So I’d like to keep that private as much as possible and draw that boundary between my work and personal life.”
Julia Barretto stars in the upcoming romance movie from Viva, Expensive Candy, alongside Carlo Aquino.
Barreto recounted how she discussed her role in the movie with her family.
“Before doing the film, one Sunday lunch with my family, I told them about the film that was pitched to me. Tapos noong after ng couple of months na dumating po sa akin ‘yung script, pinabasa ko po ‘yun ng buo sa Mom ko.
“She really loved Between Maybes, she loved Direk JP, so gave me the green light, hindi lang ang management ang nagbibigay ng green light, pati si Miss Marj may green light. Na-green light naman and my whole family were very supportive of it.”
