On August 3, Filipino-American drag performer Jiggly Caliente responded to Paolo Pangilinan’s about his dream of a kissing scene with the drag icon.
Via Twitter, Pangilinan expressed his interest in working with Caliente on a Rom-com project while retweeting a post from a screenwriter who wanted to create a screenplay for the drag performer.

In response, Caliente highlighted the significance of having a brown plus-size trans woman as a leading lady in a Romantic Comedy.

Before the exchange, Pangilinan retweeted a post from a screenwriter who took an interest in creating a screenplay for Caliente.
Through a Twitter message, the screenwriter @StevieBoy81 mentioned that he hopes to have director JP Habac and trans writer and director Rod Singh as part of the creative & directing team.
Pangilinan worked on the Boys Love series Gaya Sa Pelikula while Caliente gained popularity through the U.S based drag reality competition, RuPaul’s Drag Race.
As for their upcoming projects, Pangilinan takes on a lead role in the film Two and One, while Caliente is part of the judge’s panel for RuPaul’s Drag Race Philippines.
