On August 7, seasoned comedian Janno Gibbs jokingly requested a biographical film about his life from director Darryl Yap.
Through his Instagram account, Gibbs jested through an art card that he wants Yap to make him taller, with a sharp nose, never late for work, and scrub all of his rumored relationships from the past in the supposed biopic.
“Direk Darryl, gawan mo naman ng movie ang buhay ko. Request: Gawin mo kong matangkad, matangos at hindi nale-late sa work. Wag mo na rin isaman yung mga chicks na na-link sa’kin. 🤣✌️❤️”
Gibbs then captioned the post with an endearing message to the controversial director.
“Labyu Direk.”
He then warned news outlets that would be picking up his IG post not to remove the emojis and take his joke seriously.
“Babala: Sa mga news portal na mag pick-up nito; wag nyo tanggalin ung Emojis at gawing seryoso ha!”

Earlier, Gibbs called for ‘unity’ from President Ferdinand ‘Bongbong’ Marcos Jr. supporters, as a Kakampink or a Leni Robredo supporter.
“The elections are long over. There are no more sides now. We are all back to being just citizens. After all, the new govt’s victory or failure will be our country’s as well.
“The call of PBBM is for Unity. So listen to him and stop referring to us as the other side.
“It seems you think the new govt should only serve those who voted for them. You are not the Philippines. We all are.”
As for his current project, Gibbs stars on Xian Lim’s ‘Hello, Universe’ alongside Anjo Yllana, Gene Padilla, Benjie Paras, Maui Taylor, Sunshine Guimary, MJ Cayabyab, Madelaine Red, Majo Lingat, and Joe Vargas.
