In the Showbiz Now Na vlog aired on Wednesday, August 3, Cristy Fermin, co-host Morly Alinio, and guest co-host Wendell Alvarez talked about how Karla Estrada got big-headed after gaining fame.
Alinio narrated how Estrada started her career until she was influenced by the fame of her son, Daniel Padilla.
“Ate Cristy, ‘yang si Karla, nangangarap talaga ‘yang maging artista, maging singer. Lahat ng reporters, kinakaibigan niya. Maging sino.
Fermin recalled that young Estrada once guested in Mariposa, and she sang Wind Beneath my Wings. They cited that she started her showbiz career by joining That’s Entertainment.
Alvarez added that Estrada has never been grateful to those who helped her in showbiz.
One time, nakita nga niya yung isang pinagkakautangan niya… tiningnan lang, hindi man lang binati,” the showbiz columnist said.
Estrada starred in films and television series Ina, Kasusuklaman Ba Kita? and Maricris Sioson: Japayuki. She starred as supporting role in the series Kailangan Ko’y Ikaw.
In 2016, Estrada signed a 2-year exclusive contract with ABS-CBN.
