Bianca Lapus showed her support to ex-husband Vhong Navarro amidst controversy in a tweet on Tuesday, August 2.
The Taguig Prosecutor’s Office was asked to file charges of rape and acts of lasciviousness against Navarro following the Court of Appeals (CA)’s order. Model Deniece Cornejo filed three complaints against Navarro before the Department of Justice (DOJ) in January 2014.
Lapus described Navarro as a kind-hearted man, and she is positive that the truth will be exposed soon.
“Standing by this GOOD MAN. Not perfect, but definitely a good, kind-hearted man. Otherwise, it won’t be easy for me to become friends and co-parent with him. The truth will prevail. Walang iwanan.”

On July 31, the Court of Appeals 14th Division granted Cornejo’s petition for review for the rape case she filed against Navarro.
Justice Secretary Jesus Crispin “Boying” Remulla said they would follow the order of the Court of Appeals.
It was on January 20, 1998, when Lapus and Navarro got married. They became parents to Isaiah Navarro. In July 2008, they were officially annulled.
