Kapuso star Arra San Agustin on Wednesday, July 27 shared how personal her heartbreak song Hanggang Dito na Lang was to her. She had a relationship wherein she felt she had to let it go.
To clarify, she was not referring to PBA cager Juami Tiongson whom she is currently in a relationship.
“Past na po itong situation na ito,” she said during the virtual media conference for her song.
San Agustin said that during those hard times, she felt the relationship could not be saved anymore.
“Parang naramdaman ko noong time na iyon na, ‘wala na, ito na yun, ayoko na talaga.’ Parang… hindi ko na kayang ituloy, hanggang dito na lang ito. Parang ganoon.”
The young actress lost her will to move forward, slowly erasing her ex from her plans.
“Tapos noong naramdaman ko na parang nawalan ako ng gana, nawalan ako ng motivation, wala na akong inspiration. Hindi ko na [rin] siya nakikita sa picture ng future ko or hindi ko na siya pinapangarap na makasama, siguro hanggang doon na lang iyon.”
That experience she had then fueled the emotions in singing the song.
Though they did not end up together, San Agustin clarified that she and her ex-partner is now on good terms.
Meanwhile, the Kapuso artist is happily in love with Tiongson.
Hanggang Dito na Lang is composed by Roxanne Fabian and Rocky Gacho was the producer.
San Agustin’s single is now available for streaming on iTunes, Apple Music, Spotify, and other digital music streaming platforms worldwide.
