Young Kapamilya star Andrea Brillantes on July 19, revealed details about her break-up with Seth Fedelin at the grand media launch of Lyric and Beat.
Brillantes confirmed that she and Fedelin were in a relationship, but broke up in October 2021.
“Actually, we broke up October. Saying Goodbye–early October kami nag-break and then medyo bandang dulo ng October ‘yung Saying Goodbye, October to November. Doon ‘yung nag-try kami na magkabalikan.”
She added that they tried to get back together, but their attempt to rekindle their relationship didn’t work out.
“Akala ko actually, magkakabalikan kami pero hindi po talaga siya nag work. Kaya related po siya sa sinabi ko noon na hurt na hurt po ako noong January kasi umaasa pa rin po ako noon.”
Brillantes and Fedelin started their on-screen pairing in the 2018 hit afternoon series, Kadenang Ginto. From then on, they worked as a love team with their following series Huwag Kang Mangamba. They also starred in the digital series Saying Goodbye.
Rumors about their relationship status surfaced in January 2022, with many fans and netizens speculating that Brillantes was heartbroken after ending her connection with Fedelin.
Despite going their separate ways, Brillantes and Fedelin are back working together in the latest Kapamilya musical series, Lyric and Beat.
When asked what it was like working with Fedelin, she indicated that her connection with her former love team remains professional.
“Tsaka wala, Hi-Hello, memorize lang ho namin ‘yung lines namin. Hindi naman po talaga kailangan na lagi kaming mag-usap to make it work, since na nagawa nanamin ‘to before. And nagawa na rin namin before noong kami na. Nag-aaway po talaga kami pero wala pong may alam.”
Both stars are joined by Darren Espanto, AC Bonifacio, Kyle Echarri, Sheena Belarmino, Jeremy G, Angela Ken, and Awra Briguela.
The Kapamilya series is directed by Dolly Dulu and streams via the iWantTFC app starting August 10.
