Now enjoying both worlds, Arra San Agustin, on Wednesday, July 27, said that she would be giving more effort to building her singing career than acting.
Since 2016, San Agustin has been doing television shows. She also sang the official soundtracks (OST) for the shows The Lost Recipe and Madrasta.
During the virtual media conference for her latest single, Hanggang Dito Na Lang, the young actress explained that she loves music more than acting.
“Siguro po singing. Kasi since bata pa lang ako, mahilig na po akong kumanta. Hindi naman po ako nagkaroon ng any experience with acting. Natuto lang po ako noong pumasok ako sa Starstruck, nag-workshop na po kami. Siyempre nag-struggle na rin ako doon para matutunan,” she said.
The Kapuso artist also stated that she will give her 101% in building a musical career, knowing she is still considered a newbie in the entertainment industry.
“I would give it an eleven. I am willing to learn more, to enhance or improve myself more when it comes to singing, [and] when it comes to creating music. Marami pa po akong hindi nalalaman at dapat matutunan, and I have more room for improvement. So willing po ako na mag-commit para dito.”
Hanggang Dito Na Lang is a heartbreak song written by Roxanne Fabian. Rocky Gacho produces it.
San Agustin’s single is currently out now and is available for streaming on iTunes, Apple Music, Spotify, and other digital music streaming platforms worldwide.
