Although the interview was in 2019 as part of the promo for the Alden Richards-Kathryn Bernardo smash hit Hello, Love Goodbye, it gained new social media attention because of the Kapuso actor’s upcoming series Start-Up.
Start-up is the Philippine adaptation of the hit Korean Netflix series of the same title. It will star Alden, Richards, Bea Alonzo, Yasmien Kurdi and Jeric Gonzales and will air on GMA Network.
The Start-up adaptation will be Alden and Bea’s first team-up project and Bea’s first project with GMA Network after transferring from ABS-CBN.
Originally starred by South Korean stars Bae Suzy, Nam Joo-hyuk, Kim Seon-ho, and Kang Han-na, Start-up revolves around a group of young and ambitious entrepreneurs in the world of start-up companies.
It center’s around Seo Dal-mi, who aspires to become Korea’s next Steve Jobs. She will then find herself caught in a love triangle between her secret childhood first love and a shy founder of a tech start-up company who pretended to be her first love.
Meanwhile, GMA Network has yet to release the Pinoy Start-Up series’ airing date.
