Did Karla Estrada leave ABS-CBN’s Magandang Buhay to join the Tourism department under President Bongbong Marcos’ administration?
Estrada took a leave from the show to run in the national elections. However, she and the Magandang Buhay team recently confirmed that she would not return to the show anymore, as she intends to focus on her work under the TINGOG party-list.
Regine Velasquez, is rumored to replace Estrada on the morning talk show.
Estrada is the third nominee of TINGOG party-list, and they only secured two seats–so she will not have one.
With this, in a Ogie Diaz Showbiz Update vlog, Ogie Diaz, Mama Loi, and Tita Jegs discussed Estrada’s farewell to Magandang Buhay.
Ogie shared that Estrada might hold a position in the Tourism department, as what she said in their latest conversation during ABS-CBN executive Cory Vidanes’s birthday party.
“Kundi Usec, Asec…
“Kasi ‘di ba sa Tourism yung pumwesto ro’n ay parang spokesperson ni VP Inday Sara… tingnan natin kung matutupad ang pangarap ni Karla na makapagsilbi bilang Usec or Asec ng Tourism, o bilang director ng Tourism, parang si Cesar Montano,” Diaz said.
Estrada nor the administration of President Marcos have yet confirmed this rumor.
Estrada is also part of the cast of the controversial film Maid in Malacañang, that is directed by Darryl Yap and produced by Viva Films.
She has begun the preparation as Yaya Santa, the ‘all-around maid of Malacañang.
