On June 24, Kapuso artist Vanessa Peña revealed her misconceptions about showbiz.
At the media conference for Sparkada artists, Peña said that before she entered showbiz, she thought artists were ‘mataray’ (snobby).
She then recalled working with the cast of Widows’ Web, shattered her misconceptions about showbiz.
“Kasi po, noong nag-start– noong unang show ko which is Widows’ Web po.
Peña recounted the advice from seasoned artists about greeting their seniors and being kind to people in showbiz.
Peña is part of the 16 young Kapuso artists hand-picked by star builder Johnny M Manahan to be a part of GMA Sparkle’s Sparkada.
Other Sparkada members include Roxie Smith, Anjay Anson, Jeff Moses, Cheska Fausto, Michael Sager, Kirsten Gonzales, Kim Perez, Caitlyn Stave, Vince Maristela, Dilek Montemayor, Raheel Bhyria, Tanya Ramos, Larkin Castor, Lauren King, and Sean Lucas.
