An authentic and fully-operational organic farm, La Virginia Farms offers a unique sanctuary for adventure seekers who seek union with nature and the organic way of life.
My stay in the majestic and enchanting province of Palawan would not have been memorable, had it not for the warm and relaxing accommodation that La Virginia Farms extended to me.
The private farm hosts ‘The Cabins’, which accommodate nature-loving travelers, who are trying to maximize their Palawan trip, while also indulging in the calm refuge offered by nature.
The Cabins sit within the 7.5-hectare family farm that sprawls in Sta. Lourdes, along the outskirts of Puerto Princesa City. Accommodations with unique nature-centric services are sure to pamper clients with the array of room packages they offer. The centerpiece of their authentically-native facilities is The Glamping Hut, a 20 sq. meter hut that accommodates up to six guests. The hut is a spacious sleeping quarter with two single beds and 1 double bed.
I was practically fascinated by the striking features of the interior, which is beautifully embellished with natural materials. I loved the perforated cloth wall that allows the air to enter the wall. For just USD37.00, I was able to spoil myself with all the amenities afforded to me by the entire package.
There is stable WIFI connectivity for workcationers like me, dedicated facilities are within reach. It was as if I was working right in the comfort of my own home.
The Cabins also offer Deluxe packages, all of which are priced at USD60.00. Deluxe Queen Double B accommodates two guests and affords a single queen-sized bed. The room is set within the main farm and is directly connected to a screened guest sitting lounge equipped with books, board games, and a Bluetooth speaker for your music. Amenities are also well provided to guests, and there is easy access to a vegetable and herb garden, that adds to the overall organic and natural feel. It is the same comfort that is being offered by Deluxe Queen Double C, whose native rattan furniture is something that catches the eye. Travel buddies can avail of the Double Twin rooms (A and D), at the same price. All rooms are linked to a common lounge where guests can spend some chill time.
For those who can not skip work-related duties while still savoring the warmth of a much-needed staycation, The Cabins fully accommodate working professionals with their stable WIFI service, as well as internet TV to accompany their work hours. Netflix is easily accessible through the smart TV, provided for each room. It was able to complete some of the first few episodes of the Korean adaptation of the Spanish drama, La Casa de Papel, which is Money Heist Korea: Joint Economic Area.
The Cabins is also a gastronomic haven. Guests can have their fill without worrying too much about their diet, as the meals and foods offered by the farm are all-organic and natural. Locally-sourced ingredients are the main star of every meal, and I honestly dig the take of their in-house chef, Paul, on various sumptuous feasts that my taste buds have been missing for weeks!
At La Virginia, there are also activities that guests can try to fully experience that authentic tropical farm life. I found out the farm complex also hosts important events. You may contact them through the telephone number provided on this link if you are interested.
My stay at The Cabins at La Virginia Farms is one of the highlights of my June, this year. Not only did it allow me to relax from my worries for a while, it also helped me accomplish some important work while being able to experience the maximum comfort and glam that their facilities offered.
