Ruru Madrid expressed his gratitude to those who watched the pilot episode of the new GMA adventure series titled Lolong.
On July 5, Madrid said he is grateful for the high TV ratings of the pilot episode.
“First of all sobrang sarap po sa puso na finally lahat po ng pinaghirapan namin, nagbubunga na. Noon, iniisip ko na bakit ganun, parang laging na-delay po yung Lolong na parang nawawalan na po ako ng pag-asa, pero eto po pala ang dahilan nun.
“Na-realize ko na lahat po ng mga bagay, may perfect timing at may dahilan kung bakit nangyayari, at masasabi ko po na ito na po yun.”
Madrid thanked the viewers, wishing they could continue supporting the series.
“I’m just very thankful sa lahat po ng bumubuo ng Lolong, from the bosses ng Public affairs sa director po namin, sa writers, post na gumagawa po ng CGI (Computer Generated Images), prod team, crew and cast, at sa lahat po ng nanood ng Lolong!
“Hopefully patuloy po nilang suportahan ang Lolong gabi-gabi. Papunta pa lang po tayo sa exciting part hehe,” Madrid added.
On July 4, according to the NUTAM People Ratings data of AGB Nielsen, Lolong got a TV rating of 17.7%. While FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano only got a rating of 11.6%.
