Rica Peralejo recalled her long years with the ABS-CBN network, which served as her second home.
On Sunday, July 3, the 41-year-old actress performed on the Kapamilya variety show ASAP Natin ‘To.
Following her performance, she strolled around ABS-CBN and even posed along the hallway of the Network.
She then posted the picture on Instagram and recalled her long years with the Kapamilya network.
“Nag-ASAP today.✨ This hallway, next to my own home, has been the space of my childhood. Everything feels different while also everything feels familiar. Like it was only yesterday.”
Peralejo said that she was reminded of how she started her career as an actress and a performer. She was humbled by how far she is now in her career.
“Part of me is emotional, and maybe that comes with your 40s and you realize so much of what shaped your life. How some things began. And it reminded me today of how I never wanted to be popular, and that I only wanted to be a performer. It reminded me also of hard work. It reminded me of how humbling it is to be in this business, of how you cannot be entitled,” she said.
She also talked about her sister who was the one who brought her to ABS-CBN.
“It also reminded me of my sister. She was the one who brought me into this building. I entered ABSCBN that day as a regular kid with an ice cream stain on her peach shirt she bought on sale in Cinderella, and went out with a new direction in her hands. 💭 TOO. MANY. MEMORIES. TOO. MANY. DEFINING. MOMENTS. Nag-asap lang naman dapat diba?” said Peralejo.
